Dear Friends,

As we reflect on the progress and achievements of the past year, it is with immense pride that we highlight the ongoing successes of New York Institute of Technology and the incredible generosity of our donors. New York Tech continues to enhance the student experience, expand our research capabilities, and embrace innovation. Our commitment to students remains steadfast as we focus on providing an education that empowers them to succeed in an ever-changing world where technology permeates every level of industry and science.

Transformational gifts from our donors enable us to invest in the latest technologies, state-of-the-art facilities, and scholarships that support our students’ growth. These contributions—along with smart financial planning that has strengthened our resilience—ensure that New York Tech is poised for even greater success.

One key highlight is the installation of our new fMRI (functional magnetic resonance imaging) technology, which positions us on a promising path toward achieving R2-level research status. Weighing 13,000 pounds, this advanced piece of equipment will significantly enhance our new Biomedical Research, Innovation, and Imaging Center (BRIIC), enabling us to make groundbreaking strides in healthcare, biomedicine, neuroscience, and more. Our research faculty are already exploring exciting opportunities that will push the boundaries of knowledge and elevate our reputation as a leader in these critical areas.

Equally important is our ongoing focus on innovation and entrepreneurship across all schools and colleges. Whether in health and medicine, cybersecurity, architecture, business, computer science, engineering, sustainability, or other emerging fields, we are equipping our students with the skills, resources, and mindset needed to become the next generation of doers, makers, innovators, and healers.

Thank you again for supporting New York Tech and our students throughout 2024. Together, we are building a bright future that helps ensure exceptional student experiences and continuing success.

With sincere appreciation,

Henry C. Foley, Ph.D.
