New York Institute of Technology continues to benefit from the level of support and encouragement it receives from alumni, partner organizations, and friends across the country.
As we reflect on the progress we have made in 2024, much of it was possible because of the generosity of those who believe in the impact that New York Tech students will have on the fields to which we contribute our expertise, from bioengineering to medicine to information technology and the regions we call home—Long Island, New York City, northeast Arkansas, and Vancouver.
We have much to celebrate this year, such as transformational gifts from individuals like Andrew and Christina Berner, Daniel (D.O. ’86) and Danielle Ferrara, and the Ritter Arnold family, each of which will impact student lives now and into the future. Some also included New York Tech in their estate planning—such as John Sorrenti (B.S. ’72, M.B.A. ’78) and Olaf Butchma (D.O. ’88)—another way to ensure that they can help support a vibrant future for New York Tech for a long time to come.
We also forged partnerships with alumni, industry partners, and organizations who contributed more than monetary support; they contributed their time, expertise, and real-world resources, such as medical scrubs, stethoscopes, and lab supplies and equipment, to help our students thrive.
Because of the generous support of our vast community, students attended national conferences, conducted cutting-edge research, and published findings in scholarly journals, gaining valuable professional experience. We conducted major facility upgrades, from the brand-new residence hall at 120 Jericho Turnpike on Long Island to substantial renovations to lab and learning spaces in New York City.
As we look forward to another successful year in 2025, we recognize that the bright futures of New York Tech and its students are reliant on the generosity and enthusiasm of supporters like you.
